College Reach-Out Program (CROP)

The College Reach-Out Program is funded by the Florida Department of Education. The purpose of the program is to increase the awareness of the educational and career opportunities available to disadvantaged students in middle and high school grades. The main goals of the program are to increase the number of minority students who attend college, increase the number of low-income students who attend and complete college, motivate and mentor participants, strengthen the participants’ and their parents’ understanding of the benefits of a college education, and foster academic, personal and career development through supplemental instruction.
